Praying with someone you just met
How to ask permission, pray briefly, and protect what people share.
Ask permission
"May I pray for you right now?" If they say yes, ask their name and what they'd like prayer for.
Pray short and simple
Thirty seconds is enough. Pray in the person's language, with everyday words. Never touch anyone without asking first.
Protect what they share
Thank them. If they shared something sensitive, don't post it on the Prayer Wall with their name, photo, or details that identify them.
